Job summary

The Illinois Association of School Administrators is seeking a Social-Emotional-Academic Interventionist for WJHS to deliver district-approved instruction and support students’ academic and social growth.

Qualifications

• Teaching certificate for the particular position as required by the State.
• Familiar with computers, including email and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to communicate with students, parents, and staff in a courteous manner.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain professional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Teaches approved curriculum.
• Meets and instructs assigned classes at designated locations and times.
• Plans a program of study using varied instructional techniques and media.
• Creates a classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Maintains records and communicates progress to students and parents.
• Maintain up-to-date curriculum maps and participate in district activities.
