Job summary

M Booth & Associates in New York seeks a highly creative Mid-Level Social Designer to join a 20+ person team. You’ll design stop-and-scroll graphics and infographics for LinkedIn, Facebook, X, YouTube, and TikTok, collaborating with video storytelling for overlays and typography.

You’ll balance bold, native style with corporate polish, deliver across digital outputs, and mentor growth within the team in a hybrid NYC work model.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional social design experience in agency or in-house with a diverse portfolio across major social platforms.
• Exceptional typography, composition, color theory, grid systems, and layout hierarchy.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and Figma; CapCut is a plus.
• Experience in fast-paced agency environments with cross-agency pipelines.
• Excellent time management, openness to feedback, strong communication, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Multi-Platform Visual Design: create high-quality assets across LinkedIn, Facebook, X, YouTube, and TikTok.
• Translate client brand guidelines into social-first identity kits.
• Develop rapid-response graphic assets, memes, and visual hooks for trends.
• Collaborate with creatives to co-create concepts and meet client demands.
• Ensure messaging and visuals align with brand guidelines.
• Hands-on creation of visuals, vector art, typography, mockups, and photo retouching.
• Develop visual campaign concepts and the overall look for series.
• Brainstorm and collaborate on creative solutions for campaigns.
• Produce design requests for account leads, meeting deadlines.
• Articulate design choices to designers, accounts, and clients.
• Stay updated on art trends and social media specs.
• Support team growth.
