Job summary

Digitas is seeking an Associate Director, Social Creative in New York to lead a team of content creators focused on lo-fi, social-first content with an emphasis on TikTok. You will mentor and scale output while ensuring content aligns with brand goals in today’s fast-evolving internet culture.

You will collaborate with strategy and clients, stay ahead of trends, and contribute hands-on in shooting, editing, and copywriting to drive engaging social experiences.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of experience in video content creation for social media at a consumer-facing brand or agency.
• Proficiency in video editing software, including in-app editing tools and Premiere.
• Nice to have: experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, AfterEffects, and Illustrator.
• Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and ability to mentor a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a team of content creators, providing guidance, feedback and mentorship.
• Collaborate with social strategists and clients to ensure content aligns with brand strategies and social trends.
• Conceptualize and execute creative content for various social media platforms, focusing on TikTok and lo-fi content.
• Participate in and lead weekly culture briefings to discuss trends and opportunities for brands.
• Stay on top of internet trends, social media updates, and platform shifts.
• Provide hands-on support in shooting, editing, and writing post-copy for content.
• Identify opportunities for viral content ideas and campaigns.
