What you’re applying for

We’re on the hunt for a witty, clever, and culturally tuned-in Social Content Creator to bring our brand’s personality to life on social media.

If you’re obsessed with internet culture, have a knack for finding ways to make people stop scrolling, and know when to go big and when to keep it simple, we want to hear from you. Experience creating static and video content for the popular social media platforms is a must.

As our Social Content Creator, you’ll own our social channels—conceptualizing ideas, creating content, crafting copy, and engaging with our audience. Sometimes you’ll fly solo; other times, you’ll team up with our talented team of crazy creative people like you. Either way, you’ll be the one dreaming up ideas and bringing them to life—by any means necessary—through production, editing, and everything in between. We're not just going through the motions on social media—we’re there because we're trying to build organic love for the brand.

In this role, you’ll
  1. Create: Develop scroll-stopping content (planned or on the fly) that aligns with our brand’s voice, tone, and social strategy.
  2. Engage: Respond to comments using the same wit and humor.
  3. Collaborate: Work with the creative team to turn big ideas into social gold.
  4. Brainstorm: Spot trends and audience insights, then turn them into clever executions.
  5. Deliver: Ensure every post is polished, purposeful, and unmistakably us.
  6. Adapt: Stay ahead of trends and keep our brand culturally relevant.
What you’ll need
  1. Experience: Show us you’ve done this before. We don’t care how you got here—just that you’ve nailed it somewhere else. Bonus points if your work has gone viral (or should’ve).
  2. Copywriting Chops: You know how to write for the moment, in the moment, without making anyone cringe.
  3. Creativity: You can take the simplest idea and make it scroll-worthy.
  4. Collaboration: You know how to work with a team of creatives without losing your voice (or your cool).
  5. Technical Skills: You’re comfortable shooting and editing mobile-first videos, and you can navigate Slack, Figma, or whatever helps keep things moving.
  6. Strategy: You understand what drives engagement and know how to measure it.
  7. Ability: to work in an office environment a minimum of 3 days a week.
  8. Enthusiasm: about learning and adapting to the exciting world of AI – a commitment to exploring this field is a fundamental part of our culture.

Lemonade's US base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000 - $131,500 plus equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Speak to your recruiter to hear more about the specific salary range for your preferred location.
