HR Content Creator

Audience Development

Hi, we’re TechnologyAdvice.

At TechnologyAdvice, we pride ourselves on helping B2B tech buyers manage the complexity and risk of the buying process. We are a trusted source of information for tech buyers, delivering advice and facilitating connections between our buyers and the world’s leading sellers of business technology.

Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, we are a remote-first company with more than 20 digital publications and over 500 global team members in the US, UK, Singapore, Australia, and the Philippines. We’re proud to have been repeatedly recognized as one of America’s fastest growing private companies by Inc., as well as a Tennessee top workplace. We work hard each day and have fun, too, with monthly virtual events, recreational slack channels, and the occasional costumed dance from our CEO.

All positions are open to remote work unless otherwise specified in the requirements below.

The opportunity

We’re looking for an HR Content Creator who knows how to connect with thousands of HR professionals, talent leaders, and workplace decision-makers across the web. If you’re up to speed on the latest HR trends and love creating video and written content that actually gets noticed, we want to hear from you.

In this role, you’ll develop engaging, high-impact content for TechnologyAdvice’s network of websites, email newsletters, YouTube channels, and social media platforms. You’ll help position our brand as a go-to resource on HR technology, compliance, talent management, and the evolving world of work.

We’re looking for someone who’s more than just a great writer—you’re a communicator with an online presence. You know how to build trust, spark conversation, and turn ideas into content that travels. Bonus points if you're already a recognized voice in the HR space.

This role reports to the VP of Audience Development and works closely with editorial, design, and marketing teams to create content that educates, inspires, and scales.

Location:United States

What you'll do
  • Write a daily newsletter that best serves our audience - thousands of professionals who look to us as their go-to resource on HR technology, compliance, talent management, and the evolving world of work.
  • Develop engaging video and written content — including articles, newsletters, and video scripts — and continuously incorporate audience feedback to keep them learning and engaged.
  • Act as a thought leader and media representative by contributing expert insights across webinars, interviews, video content, partner demos, and industry discussions.
  • Collaborate with SEO, marketing, and business development teams to align content with audience needs and trends.
  • Maintain a consistent content production schedule, producing daily and weekly written content or equivalent high-value projects (e.g., ebooks, how-to guides).
  • Track and analyze performance metrics to refine strategy and increase engagement.
  • Monitor and stay informed on industry trends, competitive content, and emerging topics to ensure our editorial approach remains fresh, relevant, and differentiated.
  • Actively participate in partner demos to inform content development and ensure alignment with strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze competitor content and proactively suggest ways to enhance our editorial advantage through differentiation and depth.
Who you are
  • 3–5 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • A confident communicator with a compelling voice—whether writing, presenting on camera, or engaging in conversation.
  • Deeply knowledgeable about HR topics, from compliance to culture, and passionate about helping HR professionals succeed.
  • Always up to date on workplace trends, HR tech, and evolving people strategies.
  • Experienced in creating content for large, external audiences across newsletters, web, video, and social platforms.
  • Comfortable representing a brand as a thought leader and expert in the HR space.
  • Data-informed and audience-obsessed — you use feedback and performance metrics to guide content decisions.
  • Naturally curious, self-starting, and excited to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Not just a writer — you’re on camera, a storyteller, strategist, and trend translator.
  • Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward.
What we offer you
  • Career Growth: Advance with mentorship programs, leadership academies, and opportunities to shape company culture and DEI initiatives.
  • Flex Fridays: Adjust your 40-hour week to enjoy a full or half day off on Fridays.
  • Remote-First Culture: Work from the comfort of your home.
  • Flexible PTO: Take the time you need, when you need it.
  • Health Coverage: Medical, dental, and vision plans for you and your family.
  • Insurance Protection: Life, AD&D, Short-Term, and Long-Term Disability coverage.
  • 401K with Match: Secure your future with our company-matched retirement savings.
  • Paid Parental Leave: Support for new parents during life’s special moments.
  • Wellness Perks: Access Headspace and enjoy monthly fitness reimbursements.
  • Pet Insurance: Care for your furry family members.
  • Speaker Series Bonus: Present in our monthly speaker series and earn a bonus.
  • Book Reimbursement: Get up to 12 books reimbursed per year to fuel your learning.
  • Bucket List Benefit: Celebrate milestones with annual contributions toward your dream adventures after 3 years.
  • In-Office Perks: Enjoy catered lunches for our in-office team.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way.
