Job summary

AVRO in Austin seeks a hands-on social marketer to independently plan, shoot, edit and publish content. You will produce three short form videos weekly, covering original filming, podcast clips, and existing footage, tailored for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

You will also handle publishing, creator coordination, and weekly results review, with hours around 15–20 per week during a 90‑day engagement. The role may extend to events and additional production.

Qualifications

2 to 4 years in social or content marketing, ideally for a consumer, beverage, wellness
A portfolio showing content you personally created and the results behind it
Strong working knowledge of TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
Hands on shooting and editing skills, with your own equipment and editing tools
Clear writing, strong creative judgment and the ability to deliver without daily direction
Reliable follow through and sound judgment about when to ask for input
Experience with creators or UGC programs is an advantage, as is an interest in golf
Based in Austin and available for agreed filming sessions and local events

Responsibilities

Short form video: three finished videos per week, using original filming, podcast edits and existing footage. Adapt for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts.
Social publishing: Hooks, captions, scheduling and publishing of approved content against a shared weekly calendar.
Golf content: podcast clips, golf team and coach stories, and course content; included within three videos per week.
Creator coordination: identify suitable creators, coordinate briefs and product seeding, and manage content usage permissions.
Weekly reporting: a short review of what worked, what didn’t, what you learned, and what to make next.
