Job summary

HammondCare’s Narangba site is seeking a Social Club Manager to lead our Social Club programs across Redcliffe, Carindale and Narangba. This permanent full-time role focuses on onboarding, assessment and ongoing support for clients while driving service growth and quality outcomes.

You will recruit and lead staff, manage budgets, ensure compliance with CHSP Manual and Aged Care standards, and build strong community connections to enhance participation and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience in Community Aged Care management and CHSP Social Club operations.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage care services.
• Strong organisational, planning and financial skills.
• Ability to problem solve with limited supervision.
• Demonstrated service growth and client participation focus.
• Valid driver's licence and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff recruitment, oversee budgets, ensure quality of care at the Social Club.
• Provide strong leadership and operational oversight of the club.
• Operate the club per CHSP Manual and aged care standards.
• Ensure compliance with Aged Care Act and quality standards.
• Meet targets for social club participation and outcomes.
• Support staff and volunteers with daily operational guidance.

This is a permanent full-time position where you will be responsible for leading a passionate and dedicated team of staff to deliver HammondCare's model of care with it's Social Club service across Redcliffe, Carindale and Narangba

Hammond Care’s Social Clubs provide a social environment where older people can take a break from their home environment, connect with their community and spend a day socialising while being supported by our talented team.

The Social Club Manager is responsible for the onboarding, assessment, and ongoing support of clients accessing Social Club programs. A key focus of the role is to drive service growth, increase client participation, and ensure high-quality outcomes for all participants.

Responsibilities

• Aid in recruiting and leading staff, managing budgets, ensuring quality and overseeing all aspects of care provision at the Social Club
• Provide strong and effective leadership, direction and oversight of operation of the Social Club
• Operate social club inline with CHSP Operational Manual
• Operate club inline with Aged Care Act and Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards
• Achieve targeted outputs for social club
• Provide staff and volunteers with support and advice on daily operational care issues

What do you need to apply?

• Certificate IV in Aged Care or other relevant qualification.
• Experience in Community Aged Care management
• Experience running a CHSP Social Club
• Demonstrated ability to use initiative and problem solve with limited supervision.
• Strong organisational abilities, including effective time management and ability to prioritise in a busy work environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage financial performance
• Strong conflict resolution skills
• Experience managing a team of skilled professionals
• A current driver’s licence and safe driving record
• Willingness to travel between HammondCare’s sites and services
• Strong administrative and computer skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Empathy and patience
