Job summary

The Department of Psychiatry at UNC Chapel Hill is seeking a temporary, Social/Clinical Research Assistant (Study Coordinator) to support all aspects of research procedures including data collection, recruitment, scheduling and participant tracking.

Reporting to the Principal Investigator and supporting 4 active studies, the role includes regulatory oversight, administering lab sessions and supervising staff and students. A Bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Experience with data management and study coordination is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support all research procedures: data collection and management.
• Assist with recruitment, scheduling, and participant tracking for multiple studies.
• Provide regulatory oversight and documentation for IRB-related tasks.
• Supervise staff and students in lab sessions.
