Reports to: Elizabeth Ganzhorn, Director/Owner of Soccer Shots Northwestern Virginia

Soccer Shots: Soccer Shots is a fast-growing, intro-to-soccer program offered throughout the Northwestern VA territory. Through relationships established with private childcare centers and public park programs, Soccer Shots currently serves children aged 2 to 8 years each season.

Objective of the Position: To provide coaching, administrative, and marketing support to the owner of the company, and to help identify and implement new programs.

Position Description: The Assistant Program Coordinator joins a dedicated leadership team committed to delivering excellent community programs and services. We seek an individual eager to grow our program and take on responsibilities within the company.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Coaching and Staff Leadership: Recruiting, hiring, training, evaluating, and managing instructors; maintaining instructor schedules; managing staff files; hosting instructor meetings; managing internship programs; coaching 10-20 sessions weekly per season.
2. Marketing and Communications: Running seasonal promotions, distributing marketing materials, managing social media, representing Soccer Shots at events, organizing special events, and handling media relations.
3. Administration: Scheduling seasons, managing enrollment, maintaining equipment and inventory.
4. Sales and Growth: Achieving enrollment and revenue goals, seeking sponsorships and partnerships, developing new programs.

Physical and Environmental Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods; lift up to 50 pounds; work in indoor/outdoor sports environments; operate equipment; and communicate effectively. Work hours are a minimum of 20 hours per week, with additional hours during peak seasons, including evenings and weekends.
