Job summary

A youth sports organization is seeking an Instructor/Official to enforce rules, instruct players, and foster a positive sports culture. Responsibilities include maintaining game conditions and communicating effectively with players and coaches. Ideal candidates should have a background in sports officiating or coaching and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Commitment to the full 7-week season is required. Compensation based on experience and performance.

Job Summary

The Instructor/Official is a critical role on any sports field; responsible for enforcing rules while also cultivating a positive culture, acting as an on-court coach, and advocating for the programs. This role has a direct impact on players, coaches, and spectators each and every game day.

We are currently hiring for our Spring season at the following venue:

Evergreen Middle School (Saturday afternoons/evenings): 4/25 to 6/13, except Memorial Day weekend

Responsibilities

• Study and enforce i9 Sports rules and safety for all players. Stripes and whistle provided by employee.
• Instruct players during practice using age-appropriate practice plans developed by i9 Sports.
• Keep time and score during the game; manage an age-appropriate level of instruction and competition.
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
