Soccer Shots Queens is seeking a Part-Time Soccer Coach & Entertainer to lead energetic, age-appropriate sessions for kids ages 1.5-8 in Queens. You’ll implement our curriculum, focus on soccer skills and character, and create a fun, safe environment.

This role offers flexible hours, paid training, competitive pay starting at $20/hour during training and $25/hour after, with potential for advancement to $30/hour.

Qualifications

• Experience with young children required.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Availability on weekdays and weekends.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Background check clearance required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Animated and energetic personality to engage children.
• Ability to coach indoors or outdoors and adapt to noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage classes of up to 12 children (ages 1.5-8).
• Study and teach the week's curriculum focusing on skill and character development.
• Engage each child at an individual level.
• Arrive at least 15 minutes before start time at your locations.
• Provide a positive customer experience to faculty and families.
• Maintain and care for the assigned coaching equipment.
• Manage your assigned class rosters.
• Provide post-session feedback.
• Communicate with management in a timely manner.
• Have fun while making a positive impact.

Our innovative curriculum emphasizes both soccer skills and character development. Our goal is simple: to leave a lasting, positive impact on every child we serve.

Soccer Shots blends soccer, education, and fun into high-energy 30- 45-minute sessions for kids ages 1.5-8 throughout the Queens area. You’ll laugh. You’ll break a sweat. What you get

REQUIREMENTS

• Prior experience working with young children
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Able to work some weekdays and Saturday or Sunday
• Some weekday availability
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
• Eligible to work in the U.S
• Successful passing of background check
• Reliable transportation
• Animated and energetic personality; ability to engage children and be silly with them
• Ability to coach indoors or outdoors (weather permitting) and in environments with various noise levels and elements.
• Soccer experience is preferred. We require passion for positively impacting children’s lives through the love of sports and fitness.
• Entertainment experience (acting, theater, etc.) preferred. We are looking for people who can bring FUN and positive energy to each class.
