Soccer Shots Queens is seeking a part-time coach to deliver energetic and fun youth soccer sessions in the Queens area. You’ll run high-energy 30–45 minute sessions for kids ages 2–8, mixing soccer with education and character building.

The role emphasizes making a positive community impact and ongoing program involvement. Ideal candidates bring passion for children and sports, strong energy, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Passion for positively impacting children's lives through sport and fitness.
• Experience working with children preferred, formal or informal.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Great energy, excellent communication skills, responsible.
• Ability to adapt to kids ages 1.5–8.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-energy 30–45 minute Soccer Shots sessions for kids in Queens.
• Create a positive, engaging coaching environment and ensure safety.
• Demonstrate skills, model proper techniques and keep sessions age-appropriate.
• Attend training and participate in sessions to support program goals.

THE JOB

Soccer Shots blends soccer, education, and fun into high-energy 30 0 45-minute sessions for kids ages 2-8 throughout the Queens area. You’ll laugh. You’ll break a sweat. And you’ll go home at the end of the day knowing that you made a difference. It may be tough, but coaching our children will be one of the most rewarding things you ever do.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal instructor MUST meet the following criteria:

• Prior soccer experience is not required. We only require the passion for positively impacting children’s lives through the love of sports and fitness.Genuine passion for children and sports.
• Prior experience working with children is preferred, formal or informal
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Great energy, excellent communication skills, and responsible.
• Ability to adapt to the needs of kids ages 1.5-8.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand, jog, and model skills.
• Coaches must have or obtain state-required clearances.

SESSION TIMES

Throughout Queens

• Monkeys of Fridays: mornings (8am - 12pm) , afternoons (2pm - 5:30pm)
• Saturdays and Sundays: mornings (8am - 12pm)
