Job summary

Soccer Shots Queens is seeking part-time coaches to bring soccer and fun to kids ages 18 months to 8 years across Queens. You’ll lead high-energy 30- to 45-minute sessions, blending soccer, education, and play to help children develop skills and character while you have a positive impact in the community.

The ideal instructor MUST meet criteria: 18+ years old, passion for children and sports, energy, communication, and reliability; access to transportation; ability to stand, jog, and model

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Passion for children and sports prioritized; prior soccer experience not required.
• Experience with children preferred; formal or informal acceptable.
• Great energy and excellent communication skills.
• Reliable transportation required; ability to stand, jog and model skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-energy 30- to 45-minute sessions for kids ages 2–8 across Queens.
• Create a safe, fun, and educational environment while teaching soccer basics.

Soccer Shots is the leader in youth soccer development. Our nationally recognized program offers a high-energy, fun, age-appropriate introduction to the wonderful game of soccer. Our innovative curriculum emphasizes both soccer skills and character development. Our goal is simple: to leave a lasting, positive impact on every child we serve.

THE JOB:

Looking for part-time work where you can make a positive impact in your community? Become a Soccer Shots Coach! Soccer Shots blends soccer, education, and fun into high-energy 30 0 45-minute sessions for kids ages 2-8 throughout the Queens area. You’ll laugh. You’ll break a sweat. And you’ll go home at the end of the day knowing that you made a difference. It may be tough, but coaching our children will be one of the most rewarding things you ever do.

REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal instructor MUST meet the following criteria:

• Prior soccer experience is not required. We only require the passion for positively impacting children’s lives through the love of sports and fitness.Genuine passion for children and sports.
• Prior experience working with children is preferred, formal or informal
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Great energy, excellent communication skills, and responsible.
• Ability to adapt to the needs of kids ages 1.5-8.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand, jog, and model skills.
• Coaches must have or obtain state-required clearances.

SESSION TIMES:

Throughout Queens

• Mondays through Fridays: mornings (8am - 12pm) , afternoons (2pm - 5:30pm) | **Afternoon Availability Required at this time
• Saturdays and Sundays: mornings (8am - 12pm)
