Soccer Shots Queens is hiring a part-time coach to lead energetic 30–45 minute sessions for kids aged 18 months to 8 years in the Queens area. You will combine soccer and education to foster fun, learning, and physical activity.

Great energy, strong communication, and a love of helping children develop are essential. Prior soccer experience isn’t required, but reliability and transport access are important for shifts Monday–Friday and weekends.

Qualifications

• Passion for positively impacting children’s lives through sports and fitness.
• Experience working with children is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to stand/jog for sessions.
• Reliable transportation and state-required clearances if applicable.

THE JOB

Soccer Shots blends soccer, education, and fun into high-energy 30 0 45-minute sessions for kids ages 2-8 throughout the Queens area. You’ll laugh. You’ll break a sweat. And you’ll go home at the end of the day knowing that you made a difference. It may be tough, but coaching our children will be one of the most rewarding things you ever do.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal instructor MUST meet the following criteria:

• Prior soccer experience is not required. We only require the passion for positively impacting children’s lives through the love of sports and fitness.Genuine passion for children and sports.
• Prior experience working with children is preferred, formal or informal
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Great energy, excellent communication skills, and responsible.
• Ability to adapt to the needs of kids ages 1.5-8.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand, jog, and model skills.
• Coaches must have or obtain state-required clearances.

SESSION TIMES

Throughout Queens

• Mondays through Fridays: mornings (8am - 12pm) , afternoons (2pm - 5:30pm) | Afternoon Availability Required at this time
• Saturdays and Sundays: mornings (8am - 12pm)
