Job summary

Hometown Soccer Holdings seeks a Coordinator, Social Content and Storytelling for its new Middlesex County club in New Jersey. You will plan, shoot, and publish daily content across Instagram, TikTok, X, and more, capturing matches, training, and community events to define the club’s voice in its first season.

You’ll edit with Premiere, CapCut, Lightroom, and Canva, manage the community, build features and interviews, coordinate with MLS NEXT Pro partners, and help transition social production

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience creating social content for sports teams, brands, or agencies.
• Portfolio of short-form vertical video and photo work with a distinct voice.
• Hands-on proficiency shooting on camera and phone; editing with Premiere, CapCut, Lightroom, Canva.
• Native fluency across Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Snapchat, YouTube and trends.
• Strong writing and copy instincts; ability to reflect a club's voice publicly.
• Able to be in Middlesex County and work evenings, weekends, and matchdays.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, and publish daily social content across channels including Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Snapchat, and YouTube.
• Shoot and edit social-first vertical photo and video at matches, training, and events.
• Own community management across channels and surface sentiment to leadership.
• Maintain the social content calendar and coordinate timing with campaigns and matchdays.
• Capture and organize content for the central archive with tagged assets.
• Support transition of social production from agency to in-house.
• Develop club storytelling, including features, interviews, and behind‑the‑scenes series.
• Coordinate collaboration posts with MLS NEXT Pro, NYCFC, and HSH channels.
• Execute social elements of deposits, campaigns, and merchandise initiatives.
• Support brand reveal and inaugural-season content in coordination with leadership.
• Capture game-day content and meet MLSNP content guidelines; report performance.
• Work within brand and production standards and route content for approvals.
