Job summary

Hometown Soccer Holdings (HSH) is launching a new MLS NEXT Pro club in Middlesex County, New Jersey. The Coordinator, Social Content and Storytelling will be the club’s day-to-day social voice, shooting and editing content from matches, events, and community moments to tell the build story.

They will own social publishing, help transition production in-house, collaborate with MLS NEXT Pro, NYCFC, and the club’s marketing team, and work evenings, weekends, and matchdays to capture authentic

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience creating social content.
• A portfolio of short-form vertical video and photo work.
• Hands-on proficiency shooting on camera and phone, with editing in Premiere/CapCut/Lightroom/Canva.
• Native fluency across major social platforms and knowledge of platform norms.
• Strong writing and copy instincts for social voice and storytelling.
• Willingness to work in Middlesex County and non-traditional hours (evenings/weekends/matchdays).

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, and publish daily social content across channels.
• Shoot and edit social-first video and photos at events and community moments.
• Own community management and surface sentiment/issues to leadership.
• Maintain content calendar and coordinate timing with campaigns and matchdays.
• Capture and organize content for the central archive and in-house workflows.
• Develop club storytelling, features, and behind-the-scenes series.
• Coordinate cross-promotion with MLS NEXT Pro, NYCFC, and HSH channels.
