Job summary

Sofive is seeking a reliable Cook to support food and beverage operations at our soccer facility in Chicago. The Cook will prepare items according to Sofive standards, help ensure a high-quality experience for players, families, guests, and staff, and collaborate with the F&B team during daily operations, leagues, and events.

The role requires kitchen experience, attention to cleanliness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen, restaurant, hospitality, or food-service experience preferred.
• Strong attention to food quality, cleanliness, and organization.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
• Ability to follow recipes, procedures, and food-safety standards.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Food Handler or applicable food-safety certification preferred, or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Sofive standards.
• Maintain consistency in food quality, portioning, preparation, and presentation.
• Support efficient service during regular operations and high-volume periods.
• Complete opening, service, and closing responsibilities.
• Maintain clean and organized preparation areas, equipment, and storage spaces.
• Ensure the kitchen remains stocked and ready for daily service.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, storage, and temperature-control requirements.
