Job summary

RBC Bearings Incorporated seeks a Field Sales Engineer to grow sales in Southern California. You will partner with customers, distributors, and internal teams, focusing on technical sales of Dodge products and solutions in power transmission.

The role requires a blend of technical knowledge, sales acumen, and customer focus, with travel within the territory and collaboration across functions to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years in power transmission or industrial equipment preferred.
• 1–2 years Dodge product knowledge preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Proven organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with company objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities and support conversions to Dodge products.
• Build relationships with distributor partners and end users.
• Conduct branch and customer site visits to support local sales efforts.
• Collaborate with marketing, engineering, and inside sales to meet customer needs.
• Provide product recommendations and ensure customer satisfaction through consultative selling.
