Grant Thornton LLP in Charlotte, NC seeks a Strategic Assurance and SOC Services Intern for Summer 2027. You will deliver engagements ranging from Readiness Assessments to SOC 1/2 and HIPAA/HITRUST projects, collaborating with client teams to identify controls.

As part of the SASS team, you will plan engagements, test controls, analyze processes, and learn through on‑the‑job and structured training. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Formación

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Technology, MIS or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
• Ability to travel 20%-50% as required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• No visa sponsorship is available for this position.

Responsabilidades

• Plan engagement strategy with clients and define objectives.
• Test and evaluate IT controls to mitigate risk on engagements.
• Execute engagements from start to finish with supervision.
• Participate in client status updates and team collaboration.
