Job summary

Sensiba LLP in the United States is seeking an IT Risk Assurance Intern for Summer 2027. The role supports planning audits and fieldwork testing within the GRC IT Risk Assurance service.

Interns will gain exposure to control auditing and information security frameworks. The eight-week program includes an on-site week at our San Jose headquarters, with immersive training, networking, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Accounting, IT, CS, IS, or related field.
• Expected degree completion between Spring 2027 and Spring 2028.
• Major GPA of 3.0+ preferred.
• Understanding of cloud computing and information security concepts.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical abilities, and motivation to learn.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in IT risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and control weaknesses within clients' systems.
• Evaluate IT policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data related to IT systems, processes, and controls.
• Support the development and implementation of remediation plans to address identified risks and control deficiencies.
• Document findings, observations, and recommendations in clear and concise reports for management review.
