Job summary

Capgemini Government Solutions seeks a Security Operations Analyst to join the SOC team in Indianapolis, IN. You will monitor security events, analyze incidents, and support governance, risk, and compliance efforts for government clients.

The role requires 2+ years in a SOC, knowledge of security tools (CrowdStrike, NetSkope, Microsoft Sentinel), and experience with incident response in a global enterprise environment. On-site work with potential after-hours rotations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a SOC environment as a Security Analyst.
• Experience supporting a large global enterprise.
• Solid understanding of information security including malware, threats and vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of IP protocols and ports.
• Experience with industry standard security tools (CrowdStrike, ExtraHop, Netskope, Cisco Suite, Microsoft Sentinel).
• Understanding of incident response methodologies and security regulations (ISO 2700X, SOX, PCI).

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team of Information Security professionals supporting a global enterprise.
• Perform real-time monitoring and analysis of security events from multiple sources.
• Communicate and escalate issues and incidents as required by process or management.
• Contribute to design and implementation of Security Event Analysis and Incident Management processes.
• Create incident response reports and documentation communicating findings and lessons learned.
• Participate in weekly SOC analyst on-call rotation, with after-hours availability.
