Job summary

Capgemini Government Solutions LLC seeks a Security Operations Analyst to join the Indianapolis SOC team. You will perform real-time monitoring, analyze security events from multiple sources, and escalate incidents per process.

You’ll help design incident management processes and prepare reports communicating findings and lessons learned. The role requires 2+ years in a SOC, familiarity with ISO controls, and experience with enterprise security tools; a government clearance is anticipated.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.
• 2+ year experience working in SOC environment as a Security Analyst.
• Experience supporting a large global enterprise environment.
• Solid understanding of Information Security including malware, emerging threats, attacks, and vulnerability management.
• Proficient knowledge of IP protocols and ports.
• Technical proficiency with industry standard security tools such as CrowdStrike, ExtraHop, Netskope, Cisco Suite and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Understanding of incident response methodologies and technologies.
• Familiar with ISO 2700X, SOX and PCI.
• Customer service including resolution of customer escalations, incident handling, and response.

Responsibilities

• Work as a part of a team of Information Security professionals supporting a global enterprise.
• Perform daily operational eyes-on-glass real-time monitoring and analysis of security events from multiple sources.
• Communicate and escalate issues and incidents as required by process or management.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of Security Event Analysis and Incident Management processes.
• Create incident response reports and documentation to communicate findings and lessons learned.
• Participate in weekly SOC analyst on-call rotation, with after-hours availability for escalations.
