Allied Universal is seeking a SOC Operator in Minnesota to monitor, analyze, and respond to security events across multiple locations in a technology-driven setting.

The role requires strong communication, incident management, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a 24/7 operations environment. Benefit packages include medical, dental, vision, 401k, and life insurance.

Allied Universal offers unmatched career growth opportunities in the security industry Key Responsibilities & Required Experience The SOCOperator is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, documenting, and responding to security and operational events across multiple locations. Candidates should be comfortable working in a technology-driven environment and demonstrate strong critical thinking, communication, and incident management skills. Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Operate and manage the S2 NetBox Access Control System, including generating reports, responding to alarms, investigating activity, and navigating system partitions.
• Utilize Milestone Video Management System (VMS) to review, monitor, and collect video evidence supporting investigations and security incidents across a network of 1,000+ cameras.
• Manage and respond to incidents through various ticketing systems, ensuring timely, accurate documentation and closure. Experience with ServiceNow is preferred.
• Create, distribute, and manage emergency and operational communications using mass notification platforms, such as AlertMedia or Everbridge.
• Administer the Traka Key Management System, including profile creation, access‑level assignments, and key accountability functions.
• Generate and maintain incident reports and asset information using Fusion/Salesforce platforms.
• Monitor intelligence feeds through Dataminr, evaluate emerging threats, and escape incidents in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain detailed incident documentation and provide timely communications to internal stakeholders and client personnel.
• Demonstrate strong situational awareness, multitasking abilities, and decision‑making skills in a 24/7 operations environment.

Available Shifts 1st Shift

• Wednesday‑Sunday | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (40 hours/week)
• Monday‑Tuesday | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (16 hours/week)

2nd Shift

• Wednesday‑Sunday | 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (40 hours/week)
• Monday‑Tuesday | 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (16 hours/week)

3rd Shift

• Wednesday‑Sunday | 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (40 hours/week)
• Monday‑Tuesday | 11:00 PM - 7:00 PM (16 hours/week)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC/RSOC) environment.
• Experience with access control, video management, incident management, and mass notification systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple incidents and tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and security technology platforms.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
