Job summary

Apple, Inc. in Cupertino, CA is seeking a SoC QoS/Fabric Performance Engineer to drive development of on-chip interconnect and memory QoS features within the Platform Architecture team.

You will help build full-chip simulations for iPhone/iPad/Mac/Watch SoCs, model AR/ML workloads, and study performance/power trade-offs while collaborating across hardware and software groups. Qualifications

• C++ programming experience.
• Coursework and/or experience in computer architecture and the HW/SW stack.
• Coursework and/or experience with performance modeling and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Learn state-of-the-art SoC IP and chip-level architecture, including network-on-chip.
• C++ modeling of graphics, camera, ML dataflow, NOC, and integration with other SoC models.
• Run performance simulations of future applications.
• Careful analysis and presentation of simulation results.
• Tune and validate future SoC HW/SW for the best user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional modeling, hardware, and software teams.
• Some international travel is required for this position.
