Job summary

Apple is seeking a highly motivated SoC performance engineer to help shape the architecture of future Apple System-on-Chips. You will join the Platform Architecture team and work with hardware and software groups to drive development of on-chip interconnect and memory QoS features.

You will create a full-chip C++ simulator, model AR/ML workloads, and study performance and power trade-offs to influence architecture decisions for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Watch SoCs.

Qualifications

• BS degree
• C++ programming experience
• Experience in computer architecture and the HW/SW stack
• Experience with performance modeling and debugging

Responsibilities

• Develop a full-chip C++ simulator for iPhone/iPad/Mac/Watch SoCs
• Model workloads such as AR and ML to study performance and power trade-offs
• Drive development of on-chip communication interconnect and memory QoS features
• Contribute to architecture improvements for future Apple products
