Job summary

Prosegur Security USA, Inc in San Antonio, TX is seeking a SOC / Patrol Officer to maintain a safe environment in a data center/SOC setting. Pay rate is $20–$22 per hour. This is a Full-Time position (32 hours or more) with weekend availability required.

You will monitor CCTV and access control, conduct patrols, issue badges, respond to alarms, and produce incident reports. Qualified candidates have a HS diploma or GED, must be 18+, hold an active Texas Level II (Unarmed) Security License, and

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active Texas Level II (Unarmed) Security License required.
• Prior SOC, data center, or security operations experience preferred.
• Prior Military/Law Enforcement Experience is a plus!
• Experience with CCTV, access control systems, and incident reporting systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, contractors, and visitors within a data center / SOC environment.
• Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and access control systems to identify and respond to security events in real time.
• Control and verify access to the facility by ensuring all personnel and visitors follow proper badging and entry procedures.
• Create and issue badges for approved personnel, ensuring all access credentials are accurate and compliant with site protocols.
• Conduct both virtual and physical patrols, ensuring all critical areas are secure and operating within expected parameters.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and security concerns, escalating issues to appropriate internal teams or emergency services as needed.
• Observe and report potential safety hazards, policy violations, or suspicious activity, and assist in corrective actions when appropriate.
• Understand and comply with company policies, state regulations, and site-specific post orders and SOC protocols.
• Complete detailed incident reports, Daily Activity Reports (DARs), and logs accurately and in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with site leadership, client representatives, and team members during shift operations.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service in a high-visibility, client-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
• Must successfully pass background screening and drug testing.
