Job summary

Prosegur Security USA, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time SOC / Patrol Officer to monitor CCTV, manage access control, and respond to security events in a data center/SOC setting. You will create badges, perform both virtual and physical patrols, and report incidents with precision.

The role requires attention to detail, English communication skills, and a Texas Level II unarmed license. Prior SOC or data-center experience is preferred, with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Texas Level II (Unarmed) Security License required.
• Prior SOC, data center, or security operations experience preferred.
• Experience with CCTV, access control systems, and incident reporting systems preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, contractors, and visitors within a data center / SOC environment.
• Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and access control systems to identify and respond to security events in real time.
• Control and verify access to the facility by ensuring all personnel and visitors follow proper badging and entry procedures.
• Create and issue badges for approved personnel, ensuring all access credentials are accurate and compliant with site protocols.
• Conduct both virtual and physical patrols, ensuring all critical areas are secure and operating within expected parameters.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and security concerns, escalating issues to appropriate internal teams or emergency services as needed.
• Observe and report potential safety hazards, policy violations, or suspicious activity, and assist in corrective actions when appropriate.
• Understand and comply with company policies, state regulations, and site-specific post orders and SOC protocols.
• Complete detailed incident reports, Daily Activity Reports (DARs), and logs accurately and in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with site leadership, client representatives, and team members during shift operations.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service in a high-visibility, client-facing environment.
