Job summary

Prosegur in San Antonio, TX is seeking a SOC/Patrol Officer (Part-Time) to help secure a data center environment. You will monitor CCTV and access control, issue badges, and perform both virtual and physical patrols during 1st-3rd shifts and weekends.

The role requires 18+, a High School Diploma or GED, and a Texas Level II unarmed license. Prior SOC or security ops experience is preferred, with strong English communication and professional conduct expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas Level II (Unarmed) Security License required.
• Experience with Genetec or similar security platforms is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, contractors, and visitors within a data center / SOC environment.
• Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and access control systems to identify and respond to security events in real time.
• Control and verify access to the facility by ensuring all personnel and visitors follow proper badging and entry procedures.
• Create and issue badges for approved personnel, ensuring credentials are accurate.
• Conduct both virtual and physical patrols, ensuring all critical areas are secure.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and security concerns, escalating as needed.
• Observe and report potential hazards, policy violations, or suspicious activity, and assist in corrective actions.
• Understand and comply with company policies, state regulations, and SOC protocols.
• Complete detailed incident reports, DARs, and logs accurately and timely.
• Communicate effectively with site leadership, client representatives, and team members during shift operations.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide customer service in a high-visibility environment.
