Securitas, Inc. is hiring a Security Operations Center (SOC) Officer in Basking Ridge, NJ.

The SOC Operator will monitor and analyze security events, manage incident responses, and conduct investigations to protect our infrastructure from threats. Qualifications include 1–2+ years in SOC or similar monitoring, a high school diploma or GED (an associate degree is a plus), and experience with CCTV/VMS, access control, alarms, and security software.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years in SOC, security operations, dispatch, law enforcement, military, or a similar monitoring environment.
• High school diploma/GED; associate degree in Criminal Justice, Security, Emergency Management, etc. is a plus
• Experience with CCTV/VMS, access control, alarms, radios, intercoms, and security software
• Strong written documentation and report-writing
• Excellent verbal communication and professional demeanor
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and make sound decisions under pressure
• Comfortable working nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating 24/7 shifts
• Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office
• Ability to follow SOPs, escalation procedures, and confidentiality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events, manage incident responses, and conduct investigations.
• Protect the company’s infrastructure from security threats and potential breaches.
• Provide centrally managed law enforcement radio monitoring with event logging and recording.
• Oversee alarm monitoring of intrusion detection systems and emergency dispatch.
• Maintain compliance with SOPs and confidentiality requirements.
