Securitas, Inc. is hiring a Security Operations Center (SOC) Officer in Basking Ridge, NJ.

The SOC Operator will monitor and analyze security events, manage incident responses, and conduct investigations to protect our infrastructure from threats. Qualifications include 1–2+ years in SOC or similar monitoring, a high school diploma or GED (an associate degree is a plus), and experience with CCTV/VMS, access control, alarms, and security software.

• Excellent verbal communication and professional demeanor
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and make sound decisions under pressure
• Comfortable working nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating 24/7 shifts
• Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office
• Ability to follow SOPs, escalation procedures, and confidentiality requirements.

Securitas is looking to hire for Security Operations Center (SOC) Officer

The SOC Operator’s responsibilities include monitoring and analyzing security events, managing incident responses, and conducting investigations.

A successful candidate should have a strong understanding of security protocols and systems, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.

Ultimately, the role of the SOC Operator is to ensure the security and integrity of our company’s infrastructure, protecting against security threats and potential breaches.

Shift: Monday to Friday 2:00pm to 10:0pm.

Pay Rate: $19.00 an hour.

Location: Basking Ridge, NJ

Core requirements:

• 1–2+ years in SOC, security operations, dispatch, law enforcement, military, or a similar monitoring environment
• High school diploma/GED; associate degree in Criminal Justice, Security, Emergency Management, etc. is a plus
• Experience with CCTV/VMS, access control, alarms, radios, intercoms, and security software

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a SOC Operator, Security Analyst or similar role in information security.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and regulations.
• Understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.
• Proficient in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and make decisions in emergency situations.

MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., pager or phone).
• Must have a reliable means of transportation Driver's License with a clean record.
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
• Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
