Qualifications

• Minimum of seven (7) years in a security operations control room.
• 3+ years leading security operations or SOC teams; prior management preferred.
• Experience with access control, alarm monitoring, and CCTV/video management.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to develop SOPs and training materials.
• Bachelor’s degree required; related fields a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including weekends/holidays for 24/7 ops.

Responsibilities

• Lead the SOC and act as first-line manager for daily operations.
• Oversee staffing, performance management, and service levels.
• Select and develop SOC specialists; manage disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintain SOC knowledge base; ensure SOPs are current.
• Develop and optimize SOC processes and metrics.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Provide technical support and coordinate cross-department projects.
• Monitor incidents and coordinate rapid response activities.
