Job summary

BlueVoyant is seeking a Manager, Security Operations Center (SOC) to lead a growing SOC organization in a hybrid College Park, MD setting. You will guide a team of Team Leads, Trainers, and Security Analysts, ensuring world-class service for SOC customers and retention.

This is a client-facing leadership role with growth potential as the team scales. You will own escalation management, coordinate with Client Success for remediation, and drive improvements across MSS services while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; proven security/ops experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Experience leading managers or team leads with performance accountability.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills; able to drive retention and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Team Leads, Trainers, and Security Analysts with coaching and performance management.
• Own customer escalations and partner with Client Success on remediation and communication.
• Oversee SOC operations to deter, detect, and respond to intrusions; ensure quality & SLA adherence.
• Develop SOC performance metrics and regular leadership reporting on incidents and trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive service improvements and policy updates.
