The SOC Maintenance Planner is responsible for the “day-of” operation for all Line/Base MX planned workloads. Ensures that packages are complete, and all materials are identified. Coordinates with MX stations to best address all workloads, including the planning of manhours and logistics. Coordinates the routing to ensure that all aircraft are available for scheduled maintenance. To integrate the MEL/NEF requirements into the current daily workload. Works in the SOC.

Essential functions:

• Coordinates and monitors all planned workloads and packages for RON aircraft across CommuteAir’s fleet
• Focuses on day of operation, to ensure the success of all workloads
• Coordinates daily with MX control the scheduling of open MELs and NEFs for timely compliance
• Monitor flight times/cycles
• Actively builds packages in AMOS
• Defers and reschedules work packages in AMOS
• Maintains the 7-day plan accounting for accurate RON counts and manhours for each station
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly planning outlines of maintenance program requirements, including the accomplishment of AD’s, SB’s, or other necessary items
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Responsible to report the status of all Planned workloads from RONs on the system
• Holds daily conference calls with all bases to review and plan all workloads for the next 7 days
• Read, write and speak the English language fluently
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license
• Excellent computer skills in MS Office; airline operations software knowledge preferred
• Demonstrate a positive and productive attitude
• High level of attention to detail
