Job summary

Georgia Gwinnett College seeks a Security Operations Center (SOC) Lead to run day‑to‑day SOC operations, lead cybersecurity investigations, coordinate incident response, and mentor student assistants. The role reports to the Director of Information Security and involves on‑call responsibilities as needed within a dynamic campus security program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, computer science, information technology, or related field.
• At least four (4) years of relevant professional cybersecurity experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily SOC activities including monitoring, incident detection, analysis, response and escalation.
• Hire, onboard, train, schedule, and mentor student assistants to support SOC operations.
