Samsara is seeking a Security Incident Response Engineer to monitor alerts, lead incident investigations, and coordinate cross-team responses. You will build automation in Python, work with cloud security controls (AWS/GCP), and mentor junior engineers while ensuring regulatory and internal security standards are met.

The role supports a flexible remote model with on-call duties, and lies within the Security Operations Team.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Experience leading security incidents and coordinating cross-team responses.
• Proficiency in Python for tooling and automation.
• Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, FedRAMP security frameworks.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor security events and provide technical analysis.
• Lead security incidents from detection through resolution and communicate updates.
• Coordinate services, integrations, and tooling to support security operations.
• Mentor security operation engineers and train on data collection and reporting.
