Job summary

Rangam Consultants is seeking a Lead - Security Operations Center (SOC) and Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT) to guide our IT security program. You will oversee SOC and CIRT activities across departments, set objectives, track progress, and communicate status to partners.

You will identify security processes needing improvement, propose new standards and tools, benchmark innovative solutions, and lead security design for high‑risk projects.

Responsibilities

• Manages SOC and CIRT within IT Security and Risk Management; sets goals, tracks status, and communicates with business partners.
• Identifies SOC and CIRT security processes and standards across IT that would benefit from improvement.
• Proposes new standards, tools, policies, and procedures to improve security, compliance and risk management.
• Benchmarks innovative solutions to monitor progression and ensure value aligns with goals and standards.
• Leads the security design of projects that entail large risk and wide spread implications to the business.
• Reports status to senior IT management on activities, issues, projects, and security effectiveness.
• Collaborates with IT, QA, and business teams to ensure audit readiness and prepare for audits.
• Reviews security documents and project artifacts for complex situations.
• Assesses and manages compliance risks across the organization, escalating as needed.
