Job summary

University of Wisconsin–Madison seeks an Outreach Program Manager to lead the Sober/Recovery Housing T/TA Supplement under SAMHSA priorities. You will coordinate training, TA, outcome measurement tools, and peer learning for states, communities, sober/recovery housing operators, and Recovery Community Organizations across Region 5.

This role offers remote work with regular virtual communication, travel (~15–25%), and potential extension to ongoing appointment based on need and funding.

Qualifications

• Experience providing TA or training to state agencies, community-based organizations, or service providers.
• Knowledge of sober/recovery housing models and resident safety practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the implementation of outreach-program-focused strategic planning initiatives and objectives.
• Reviews recommendations for and provides input on the design and development of new outreach programs or services.
• Develops and implements operating policies to promote the outreach program in alignment with the strategic plan.
• Determines outreach program needs and the personnel resource allocation plan.
• Monitors the unit or program budget and approves program expenditures.
