SFUSD is seeking a Special Education SOAR Paraeducator (S10Q) to support students with social-emotional and behavioral needs under a certificated teacher's supervision. You will assist in implementing programs, collect data, and help maintain positive relationships with families and community partners.

Work with teachers, ERMHS staff and the broader team, participate in weekly SOAR staff meetings, and support students’ progress toward IEP goals in inclusive classrooms.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher OR 48 college units and a high school diploma OR passing CBEST and high school diploma.
• One year of successful experience working with students with significant social-emotional and/or behavioral needs.

Responsabilités

• Assist certificated teachers and specialists in providing academic and social instruction.
• Collect behavioral data for analysis in IEPs and collaborate with staff.
• Attend required meetings such as SOAR weekly staff meetings and implement program recommendations.
• Maintain safety precautions and support behavior intervention plans in the classroom.
