Job summary

EY is seeking a SOAR Engineering Manager to lead the design, delivery, and optimization of security automation solutions. You will guide cross-functional teams, oversee playbook development, and ensure scalable, secure architectures across SIEM, EDR/XDR, IAM, and cloud security.

You will collaborate with clients and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into actionable roadmaps, manage delivery milestones, and drive measurable security outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, IT, or related field with 6-10 years in security automation or SOAR.
• Experience leading teams delivering security automation or SOAR solutions in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise SOAR platforms such as Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR, Microsoft Sentinel Automation, Splunk SOAR, or equivalents.
• Strong software development and scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript).
• Experience designing REST APIs, web services, SDKs, and custom integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SOAR and security automation engagements from discovery through deployment and operational transition.
• Advise clients on automation strategy, governance, and platform selection to improve SOC effectiveness.
• Own solution architecture and delivery quality for enterprise SOAR implementations.
• Direct the design and development of playbooks for incident triage, enrichment, investigation, and remediation.
• Oversee integrations across SIEM, EDR/XDR, IAM, cloud security, and threat intelligence.
