Job summary

Atwork is seeking a Clean Soap & Anneal Operator for the Second shift (3:00pm–1:30am, Monday–Thursday) to join our Knoxville manufacturing team. This role operates production equipment, performs basic assembly, loads/unloads machines, and ensures quality with precise measurements and documentation.

The ideal candidate will have basic manufacturing knowledge, the ability to follow technical instructions, basic math and computer skills, and familiarity with precision measuring tools.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes preferred.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and technical documents.
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills required.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and perform basic assembly tasks
• Load and unload machines to produce quality parts
• Follow verbal and written instructions, including routings, drawings, and procedures
• Use precision measuring instruments for testing and quality checks
• Maintain accurate production documentation as required
• Keep work area clean and follow good housekeeping practices
• Make minor adjustments to equipment to ensure safety, quality, and productivity
• Train other operators as needed
• Participate in continuous improvement and total quality management activities
