Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in Cranberry Township, PA, is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Reactor Vessel Internals Replacement Engineering group within the Reactor Component Engineering department. You will supervise engineers, guide design and analysis of major reactor vessel internals modifications, and support outage activities.

• Typically 12 years of progressive engineering and/or leadership experience.

About The Role

You will be the Senior Manager of the Reactor Vessel Internals Replacement Engineering group for the Reactor Component Engineering department. You will lead the engineering team responsible for the design and analysis of major modifications and replacement of the reactor vessel internals. This includes support for operating plants through outage support and modifications. You will report to the Director, Reactor Component Engineering, and be located at our global headquarters in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. This position is hybrid; you will be onsite 2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers, including performance management, career development, and hiring
• Manage work planning, prioritization, and resource management across all supporting departments for multiple projects
• Ensure, high-quality delivery of engineering work products according to internal quality processes and industry standards
• Mentor team members to improve overall team capability and technical proficiency.
• Provide management-level technical oversight for design and analysis of modifications and replacement reactor vessel internals

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. We estimate the base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon qualifications, to be 144,000 to 180,000 per year.
