Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Reactor Vessel Internals Replacement Engineering group within the Reactor Component Engineering department. You will guide the design and analysis of major modifications and replacements, supporting operating plants through outages.

You will report to the Director, Reactor Component Engineering, and be based at the Cranberry Township, PA headquarters with a hybrid schedule (onsite 2 days per week).

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressively responsible engineering and/or leadership experience.
• Leadership competency with team management experience.
• Gather and analyze input, evaluate alternatives, and make decisions.

• Manage work planning, prioritization, and resource management across all supporting departments for multiple projects.
• Ensure high-quality delivery of engineering work products according to internal quality processes and industry standards.

• Provide management-level technical oversight for design and analysis of modifications and replacement reactor vessel internals.
• Promote continuous improvement, collaboration, and a safety and quality culture.
• Coordinate emergent response to customer issues for your responsibilities.

About The Role

You will be the Senior Manager of the Reactor Vessel Internals Replacement Engineering group for the Reactor Component Engineering department. You will lead the engineering team responsible for the design and analysis of major modifications and replacement of the reactor vessel internals. This includes support for operating plants through outage support and modifications.

You will report to the Director, Reactor Component Engineering, and be located at our global headquarters in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. This position is hybrid; you will be onsite 2 days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Materials, Nuclear Engineering, or related discipline
• We typically prefer 12 years of progressively responsible engineering and/or leadership experience.
• Gather and analyze input, evaluate alternatives, and make decisions.
• Leadership competency and existing experience
• Knowledge of engineering principles and practices

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. We estimate the base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon qualifications, to be 144,000 to 180,000 per year.
