Alyeska Resort in Girdwood, Alaska, is seeking a Mountain Sports School Supervisor to lead snowsports lesson operations and guest experiences. This role emphasizes staff development, personal growth, and high-quality instruction.

The supervisor will manage daily operations, hiring, scheduling, payroll, equipment inventory, and safety reporting, while coaching instructors and ensuring exceptional guest services. Requires PSIA/AASI Level 1 and 1–3 years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• PSIA/AASI Level 1 or equivalent certification required.
• 1–3 years ski/snowboard instructor experience and 1 year supervisory experience.
• Leadership development experience.
• Strong MS Office skills and ability to manage payroll & scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Mountain Sports School operations including scheduling, assigning classes, and payroll.
• Assist with hiring, training, payroll, inventory, and reporting on lesson feedback.
• Monitor instructor performance and provide feedback, coaching, or disciplinary action as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of company policies and safety programs.
• Coordinate with management and external partners as needed.
• Participate in leadership forums and continuous improvement efforts.
