Job summary

Polaris Inc. in Minnesota is seeking an experienced Validation Engineer to lead validation planning and testing for snow vehicle platforms, ensuring performance, reliability, and durability.

You will partner with product, systems and test teams to define validation strategies, execute lab and field testing, and deliver data-driven insights that inform vehicle readiness and certification requirements throughout the development cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years in validation, testing, or product development engineering.
• Hands-on knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with data acquisition and processing tools such as AIM or Edaq.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute DVP&R plans for snow vehicle programs.
• Define test procedures, pass/fail criteria, and equipment for validation.
• Coordinate validation activities with cross-functional teams.
• Establish reliability and durability targets.
• Lead validation processes to meet performance, driveability, and certification requirements.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret test data using data acquisition and analytical tools.
• Ensure data integrity and technical accuracy across validation activities.
• Report validation status, results, and conclusions to teams and leadership.
• Support field testing, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Improve testing methods and procedures as needed.
