Job summary

Polaris Inc. in Wyoming, MN is seeking an Off-Road Validation Engineer to lead validation activities for critical vehicle systems and assigned off-road programs.

You will manage validation planning, DFMEA-based analysis, and both lab and field testing, partnering with systems engineers to diagnose issues and validate solutions. This role shapes product performance and reliability through hands-on testing and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause investigation.
• Experience with test planning and coordination.
• Strong written and verbal communication to convey validation status and technical information.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute Design Validation Plan and Report (DVP&R) activities for assigned off-road vehicle programs.
• Develop comprehensive product validation plans by integrating analysis and testing based on DFMEA.
• Lead integrated system and full-vehicle testing to evaluate product performance and reliability.
• Diagnose testing issues, conduct root cause investigations, and ensure solutions are validated.
• Partner with systems engineers to collect test data and evaluate design improvements.
• Plan and support field testing activities in coordination with broader validation efforts.
• Track and communicate DVP&R status, testing progress, and validation results to teams and management.
• Support development and improvement of testing/validation documents and processes.
