Job summary

The Highlands at Harbor Springs is seeking dependable Snowmakers to join the winter operations team. You will operate and monitor snowmaking equipment outdoors in cold weather to create and maintain high-quality snow conditions for guests this winter season.

Responsibilities include startup/shutdown of equipment, monitoring snow production, and assisting other departments as needed. Training is provided; all shifts (full-time and part-time) are available including evenings and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; no prior snowmaking experience required, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Start up and shut down snowmaking equipment according to procedures.
• Monitor and adjust snowguns for optimal snow production and quality.
• Inspect and clean equipment, hoses, hydrants, and related areas.
• Shovel snow from hydrants, doors, and hatches as needed.
• Assist other departments with resort operations and projects.
• Ensure resort appearance and presentation.
• Follow safety procedures and report concerns.
