Job summary

Vail Resorts in New Hampshire seeks Snowmakers for the Summer Seasonal 2026 program. You will produce snow for the mountain environment, work with a passionate team, and learn cutting-edge snowmaking techniques from seasoned professionals.

Starting wage ranges from $25.25 to $30.61 per hour, with part-time hours and opportunities for growth. Must be at least 18, able to work nights and outdoors in alpine conditions. Housing is not provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver?s license required.
• Experience operating/maintaining heavy machinery; snowmaking experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Able to work outdoors in alpine environments.
• Flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate transportation vehicles per standard operating procedures.
• Understand and teach proper snowmaking quality checks.
• Assist snowmaking lead with day-to-day operations.
• Operate snowmaking pumps, compressors, and guns.
• Maintain snowmaking equipment and buildings as directed.
• Complete assigned tasks while unsupervised.
• Other duties as assigned.
