Job summary

Vail Resorts in Newbury, MA is hiring for Summer Seasonal Snowmakers. Starting wage ranges from $25.25 to $30.61 per hour. Employment type is Summer Seasonal 2026. You will operate snowmaking equipment and perform quality checks, supporting the team to deliver reliable snow for guests.

Applicants must be 18+, fluent in English, able to work outdoors in alpine environments, and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Flexibility for nights, holidays, and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Ability to work outdoors in alpine environments.
• Flexibility to work nights, holidays and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and experience with heavy machinery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate snowmaking equipment and transportation vehicles as directed.
• Conduct snow quality checks and support daily operations.
• Assist snowmaking lead with day-to-day tasks.
• Maintain equipment and facilities related to snow production.
• Complete tasks with minimal supervision.
