Stratton Mountain Resort is seeking a Snowmaking Controller for a full-time seasonal position. You will ensure snowmaking systems run smoothly, indoors mostly, and collaborate with on-hill staff to maximize production. The starting wage is $23.00/hr.

Recruitment for this role will continue through December. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, and be 18+ with a valid driver's license. Prior snowmaking knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• General mechanical skills and basic computer literacy are essential.
• Previous snowmaking knowledge/experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manually and remotely control and monitor pumping and compressed air systems.
• Relay information to the on-hill staff.
• Log and track running equipment and ensure proper operation output.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the control room.
• Perform basic maintenance and repairs, report issues to management.
• Travel to remote pumping stations during shifts.
• Additional duties as assigned.
