Job summary

Omni Mount Washington Resort & Spa in Bretton Woods, NH is hiring snowmakers for the upcoming season. You will operate snowmaking equipment, perform maintenance, and help expand trail count while ensuring a high quality snow product.

This seasonal role offers a competitive wage, 12-hour shifts, and on-site housing during winter; bonus opportunities include a $1,500 sign-on and ongoing retention bonus. Join a team dedicated to safe operation and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to walk up and down steep mountain terrain in winter conditions.
• Shows up on time and follows schedule.
• Mechanical and hydraulic knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• During pre-season, operate chainsaws, weed trimmers and other tree removal equipment in a safe manner.
• During snowmaking season, operate all snowmaking equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Set up, break down and move snowmaking equipment around the mountain to expand trail count.
• Ensure a high quality snow product throughout all weather conditions.
• Operate all vehicles including snowmobiles and ATVs in a safe manner.
• Perform basic snowmaking equipment maintenance.
